Karen has been a psychotherapist for over 25 years. Originally, she only utilized traditional talk therapy as a way to help her clients. About 15 years ago she began to integrate various forms of movement, body work and energy work into her sessions with clients. Karen is a Master’s Level Licensed Clinical Social Worker and formerly a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor. She is Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and Certified in CranialSacral Techniques through the Upledger Institute. She is a Kripalu Certified Yoga Teacher and continues her studies in yoga anatomy, yoga therapy and the use Yoga Philosophy in treating anxiety, depression, trauma and addictions. She is also a Reiki Master and Certified Personal Trainer.
Karen’s background in both mind and body therapies allows her to listen to clients at a very deep and intuitive level. She creates individualized approaches for helping clients release both emotional and physical tensions so that they can experience more freedom and balance in both mind and body. Karen enjoys working with clients on specific “issues in the tissues’ that have not been resolved with other styles of therapy.
Tracy received her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in 2006. She is nationally certified (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture and licensed to practice in Vermont.
Previously, Tracy enjoyed her acupuncture practice in Chester, VT for 5 years. Prior to that she was employed at an acupuncture clinic in Manchester, NH.
Tracy has extensive experience in treating patients for pain management, fibromyalgia, and migraines; women’s health; digestive issues, allergies and emotional disorders such as anxiety, depression, stress, and insomnia.
Tracy will be offering acupuncture on Mondays at MMM beginning September 11th.
Nicole will be available weekly at MMM on Saturday, Sunday and Monday for Massage Therapy. She is also available for off – site visits. Nicole studied at StillPoint school of Massage in Greenfield Massachusetts 15 years ago. She has been practicing part time ever since. She specializes in many techniques including Swedish Massage, Trigger Point, Deep tissue and Prenatal Massage. She thrives to work together with clients to create a session that meets their personal needs. Nicole is a Grafton native and is happy to bring herself, her family and her practice back to her home town.
Jennifer is honored to share her yoga practice at MMM with others who are guided to expand their awareness for their highest healing good. Jennifer will be leading the Wednesday evening class as well as co-leading classes with Karen. Jennifer is also available for private holistic health counseling sessions integrating her background in psychology, energy healing and nutrition. Jennifer and her family live In Peru, Vt. Previously, Jennifer previously owned Peace of Paradise in Chester, VT.
Wilson has been working with Karen for the last 6 years. He lost a front leg when he was just under a year old. After adjusting to the trauma he decided that he wanted to turn his focus towards being part of a therapeutic team. He uses his intuition and charm to support people in their journeys towards being the best versions of themselves.
