About

I have been a psychotherapist  for  about 30 years, originally using traditional talk therapy as a way to help my clients.  About 15 years ago I began to integrate various forms of movement, body and energy work into my sessions with clients. I have a Master’s Level Licensed Clinical Social Worker Degree and am a former Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor. I have a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist  Certification and am certified in CranialSacral Techniques through the Upledger Institute, I completed my basic yoga teacher training through Kripalu. I continue my studies with Kripalu, Subtle Yoga, Gentle Somatic Yoga, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Clinical Somatics, iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation  and bring the use of Yoga Philosophy in treating anxiety, depression, trauma and addictions. I also have completed trainings as a Reiki Master and Certified Personal Trainer.  In addition, my continued psychotherapy studies explore Somatic Psychotherapy, Embodied Movement, Internal Family Systems, Complex Post Traumatic Stress, PolyVagal Theory, Trauma Release Exercises and more.

My background in both mind and body therapies allows me to understand and support my clients needs at a very deep and intuitive level.  I create individualized approaches for helping clients release both emotional and physical tensions so that they can experience more freedom and balance in both mind and body.
