Mindful Movement Class Schedule

Curiosity – Creativity – Compassion

Low and Slow – Monday – 5:30 pm A slow, mostly mat-based class where we linger in poses to gently release tension.  We explore using various methods to help  “Free the Fascia”.  Suggested donation $10-20. 

Mindful Movement – Wednesday 8:00  and Saturday 9:00
A blended movement class combining yoga, Pilates, Essentrics, clinical somatics, breathwork, and other mindful practices to explore strength, mobility, and ease in the body.  Suggested donation $10-20.

Foundations – Friday noon A community class focused on building strength and stability through a variety of techniques. You are welcome to follow the class plan or do your own PT exercises that you might not be doing at home.  No donation is expected for this class.

Sound Journey 1st Sunday of the month A deeply relaxing meditation with gongs, rain discs, crystal and metal bowls, and a gentle guided body scan to support deep rest and nervous system regulation.  Suggested donation is $20-30.

Classes are donation based.  The suggested donation is $10 – $20. No one will be turned away due to lack of their ability to pay. If you are someone who is coming to several sessions a week, please, adjust your donations so that sessions are not a financial concern. Some people pay for several classes ahead of time and keep track of their attendance. Some people “pay it forward” for others who are not able to pay. I have faith that everyone will honor how I am offering these classes.

Classes are small and often spontaneously created to address specific needs brought to class. The classes are informed by studies of several different schools of Yoga, Clinical Somatics, Applied PolyVagal Theory, Trauma Release Exercises, Mindful Strength, Subtle Yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Strength Training, intuitive movement, dance, and the works of Joseph Pilates, Moshe Feldenkrais, Thomas Hanna, Tom Meyers, and more.

We utilize the wall, the floor, chairs, resistance bands, stability balls, fascia release balls and more to increase strength, balance and coordination.
